Did you know that your smile is a superpower? In this funny and dynamic TED talk, Ron Gutman shows results of some research about smiling and how it affects our lives.
This video-based lesson is prepared for less proficient students (B1+). Apart from standard vocabulary tasks, there is also some grammar – comparison of make sb vs let sb. There is also plenty of opportunities to use that grammar point in practice.
1.- GRAMMAR: do exercise 1 on grammar.
2.- DISCUSSION: answer the 4 questions about smiling.
3.- VOCABULARY: do exercises 3 and 4 on vocabulary.
4.- VIDEO: watch the video and do exerises 5 (True or False) and 6 (answer the questions)
