Welcome to Spain Jillianne !!
“Hi, my name is Jillianne Perry. I’m 23 and I was born in the Bronx, New York, where I lived until I was about 10. My family then moved to a smaller town a bit further south called Williamsburg, located in the state of Virginia. I started attending Christopher Newport University when I was 17 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish in 2015, with minors in International Culture and Business and Linguistics. I enjoy spending most of my free time reading or out and about with my family and friends.
I chose to come to Spain as a language assistant because I had studied Spanish in college, and also because Spain looked like an interesting place to experience and explore. So far I’ve had a great time here and everyone I’ve met has been really welcoming and made my experience even better.”

“MOORS and CHRISTIANS” in Caudete!! Take a look at how we celebrate and commemorate history in our town throughout “Moors and Christians”. You will witness a pretty different way of celebrating and partying than in European countries. I´m sure it will draw the attention of them all. It might seem a bit odd and weird for some of them, but each country has its culture and traditions, and respect is a must. I hope you enjoy watching it.
